With a background in arts and culture as well as an LLM in Entertainment Law Sophieclaire Armitage started her career in talent management working with one of the industries long established agencies learning the ropes working with household names and establishing her own list of exciting talent. This ranged across multi discipline experts and presenters from journalists, documentary hosts, radio presenters and comedians. Helping clients shape and develop their IP especially in podcasts, books, live and beyond is a passion of hers and helping clients think beyond traditional media platforms.
A WFTV mentee in 2022 Sophieclaire has lent her expertise and knowledge to events for Radio Academy and Screen Skills, providing guidance and advice for up-and-coming presenters as well as being a judge for the RTS West Awards for best on screen talent.
