
On her hugely successful YouTube channel, Maddie combines the traditional online style with educational content in the hope to inspire a new audience to stay curious, adventurous and encourage science engagement. The channel received a Kidscreen Award in 2022.
Since 2016, Maddie has hosted the hit CBeebies series Maddie’s Do You Know?, which sees her explore the workings of everyday objects by asking how they are made or work, all made possible with special cameras and animations. Due to the huge success of DYK, during 2020, Maddie also hosted a spin-off series, Maddie, the Zoo and You.
In 2017, Maddie triumphed in the presenter category at the BAFTA Children’s Awards and has since starred in the Cbeebies Proms during 2019. She has also appeared in the Cbeebies Christmas Show since 2017.
Since October 2021, Show Me The Honey has been available on CBBC and BBC iPlayer. Maddie follows wannabe beekeepers as they learn everything there is to know about caring for a hive.
During 2022, Maddie filmed across the world for both a new YouTube Original special, Maddie's Urban Jungles and a Magnolia/Discovery+ series, Make Yourself At Home.
She has also hosted Springwatch Wild Academy (BBC), Cloud Challenge (CNBC) and items for This Morning (ITV), Goodwood coverage (ITV4) and sustainability content on Fully Charged (YouTube).
Aside from digital content and television, Maddie also brings science to the stage, writing, producing and hosting shows for her audience.
During the summer of 2021, Maddie performed her new show, The Wonder Games, at their first London residency at The London Wonderground. She also took the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival's Underbelly stage in 2022.
Stuff! Eco-Stories of Everyday Stuff was Maddie’s debut book, and was published by Puffin in October 2021 and received rave reviews.
Maddie also made her pantomime debut in Leicester's Sleeping Beauty in 2021 and will be treading the boards in York's Peter Pan in 2022.
In the commercial space, Maddie has worked with LEGO, Samsung, Dr Oetker, LeasePlan and Mattel.
She is a patron of the Youth STEM Awards (YSA) scheme and an ambassador for The Wildlife Trust and Eureka: The National Children’s Museum.
